Add Script Tags on a Per-Asset Level
You can add custom HTML and JavaScript to individual assets without affecting your global settings. This gives you flexibility to apply specific styling or tracking scripts to particular assets while keeping them separate from account-wide configurations.
Accessing Custom HTML Options
To add custom HTML to the asset, open the asset editor and click Share Externally in the top right. From that menu, open the advanced publish settings.
Navigate to the Custom HTML tab. This will give you the option to add script tags to the head or body of this asset’s HTML, without applying them across all your assets.
How it Works
Custom HTML added to the individual assets overwrites your global settings rather than interfering with them. This means any scripts you add at the asset level will run instead of the global scripts without conflicts.
Use Cases
This feature is particularly useful when you need asset-specific tracking. Instead of adding scripts globally where they would run on every asset, you can target specific assets with the exact code they need.
